The sound velocity profile monitoring tool is designed for:

- determine the dependence of the speed of sound from the depths;
- record the obtained values of the sound speed and depth in long-term memory of the device;
- passing values of speed of sound and depth to the consumer via radio frequencies that do not require licensing (ISM radio band, the Decision of the SCR No. 07-20-03-001 from 07.05.2007 G.);
- display the values of sound velocity and depth in tabular or graphical form on the screen of the computer equipment (tablet, smartphone).
